Problems Brainstorming

Problems are everywhere. You’ve probably even got one now!

However, finding a problem to solve that is in the intersection of . . .

A problem I am interested to solve

A problem I have the skills and knowledge to solve

A problem that another person is willing to spend money to solve

With a solution I have that is significantly better than what is currently available

. . . is actually quite difficult to find

So, I’d like to allocate time to continuously brainstorm and eventually I’ll find a problem that meets this intersection that I can iterate over.

I will start at a high level and will incrementally add more detail. Then, create a spreadsheet and evaluate if each of the five dimensions are met.

What are problems at a high level?

  • Environment
  • Health
  • Economic
  • Efficiency
  • Effectiveness
  • Emotional
  • Creativity
  • Organization
  • Administration
  • Collaboration
  • Addiction
  • Time Management
  • Agricultural
  • War and Conflict
  • Resource Limitations
  • Dependence
  • Infrastructure
  • Supply Chain
  • Energy
  • Construction

Let’s think about each of these incrementally

      • Mixed with elements and gasses that are more acidic than normal. Can cause raspatory diseases and causes issues with plants
    • Dirty Water
      • 1 in 9 people lack access to healthy water
      • 1 in 3 people globally lack access to a toilet
